This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing Calendar Droid Free on PC Windows and Mac.

Almost the same as Business Calendar, honestly prettier. But more limited in terms of usability: Needs own datepicker! Dear dev, I am not using your product because instead of trying to make me buy the full version with better features, you cripple the "free" version by disabling choosing calendars.

... It needs its own notifications, otherwise it's almost useless. It also has a few inconsistencies, like the month view which scrolls vertically while the day and week views scroll horizontally, the month view also lacks the nice animation the other views have while scrolling.

Everytime i put my finger on a date a screen pops up why???????????? Long press shud have sceen pop up not just a short touch you idiots. F**ng annoying as hell

At last I found a Google Calendar clone for older versions of Android. Wish you could just remove the "free" on the icon and label...

Remember: You have to synchronize the calendars to your device for them to show up.


PERMISSIONS:
• READ CONTACT DATA
If you have any guests (or attendees) on an event and you have that person in your contacts the app will read information from that contact and show it when viewing an event. The contact picture will show up and then clicked will take you to the default "contact clicked" scenario. I know this permission looks bad together with internet access but I do not store nor send any contact info. Only contacts that are guests to viewed events are read.

• READ CALENDAR EVENTS
This should be obvious. Read the description again and see if you can spot what this is used for ;)

• ADD OR MODIFY CALENDAR EVENTS AND SEND EMAIL TO GUESTS
Again, this should be obvious. Calendar Droid needs to change your calendar events. Sending emails to guests is done when putting email addresses in the "guest" box when creating an event.
