An excellent, light-weight, FREE app with no ads or extraneous permission requirements; unfortunately, in an act of pure greed, Google has ended this apps functionality from Android Oreo. Without this app, and others like it, Google cannot be prevented from bogging down your Android system in order to trick you into replacing your device. I think I'll replace my operating system instead. Thank you, ByteHamster, for what once was an extremely invaluable app.

Does not work. Fake. Only information provided is "google killed this app as of Oreo. Can be used on rooted devices" but the device I need it for is old and not running (or able to upgrade to) Oreo. It's also rooted! So the dev is saying google killed it but in fact it seems he did with his QQ lock screen instead.

Very good, the best task killer app I have ever found. And its capability of using root access make it even better. I don't care at all whether the app works in Oreo or Pie, because I am out of that 'upgrade crazyness' imposed by Google, as Lollipop fulfills all I need. I just don't understand why all the memory is not released right on the first time we click, because clicking again immediately releases even more memory. Well done dev, thanks for creating this app for free and without ads !

Doesn't work anymore. You open the app and you get message straight from the dev saying it only works on rooted devices. How about putting that in the app description so people don't waste their time and data installing your app.

It's a shame google killing android features in every new version of Android. As a developer i face it too they took many things developer's could do and they saying its for security. But they don't know android was amazing because of many features and flexibility that was given to developer's. But unfortunately they are killing it. Thanks alot to developer of this app for reporting what they are doing.

I'm sure it's a great app, which is why I still rate 5 stars. I just hate the fact that I can't use it anymore:( hoping google will fix this.
