This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing Locater on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

  1. Download the APK/XAPK file from this page.

About this app

Send your location to your friends so they can find you. Works without internet access by using text messages and Google Maps.

For the best experience when receiving someones location, cache your local area in Google Maps so you can get a better Map's image when you view other people's locations. For instructions, select the Three Dots -> Instructions.

Automated Reply
This new feature allows you to request other people using this apps location. You can request other people's location by selecting their contact and pressing the "Request" button. If the recipient has you on their "Automated Reply" List, they will automatically reply with their location. To add people to the list, select the Three Dots -> Automated Reply and then add your trusted contacts.
