This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing Yoti - your digital identity on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

  1. Download the APK/XAPK file from this page.

It keeps refusing my Driver's license. Then it tells me I have no internet connection when in fact I do! This app obviously is not as reliable as it is made out to be if it can't scan an ID properly or detect an internet signal when signal strength is excellent.

Sometimes I'd be lost without yoti. It remembers all the passwords emails, even important stuff for the Bank, like number's etc. Very, very Handy.

As a new user, I was sceptical. I've had problems with other apps that capture data like passport or drivers license, but this captured both without issue. It would be fantastic for the covid-19 health passport. I know a few countries are adopting this as a means of proving eligibility to travel under certain EU member state guidelines. Great work so far 👍

The registration was going alright all the way up until the facial recognition part, where for some unknown reason it could not capture my face at all. Attempt after attempt, not working. Finally, I managed to get it done, then it went back for no reason to the last step so I had to go through it again, and it said there was some sort of "technical problem".

This App is not for Android, as you could see the comments, many users are complaining about failures and bugs since months ago but there is no answer no development for the issues... only Yoti asks users to drop an email to their help desk ! Or addressing them to Google services. Yoti doesn't know that there are other similar apps that doing the same thing without any bug and issue when using the same service from Google. This is just a embarrassing response from Yoti to project the problem

Regrading as I am disappointed with the password auto-fill feature. It sometimes works and then doesn't. I contacted feedback support, only to be offered no work around, just a simple I'll submit it to the developers. Poor and lack of support.... For ID purposes this is a good app, otherwise look elsewhere...
