This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing Voice Notifications on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

  1. Download the APK/XAPK file from this page.
  2. Install BlueStacks by visiting http://bluestacks.com.
  3. Open the APK/XAPK file by double-clicking it. This action will launch BlueStacks and begin the application's installation. If the APK file does not automatically open with BlueStacks, right-click on it and select 'Open with...', then navigate to BlueStacks. Alternatively, you can drag-and-drop the APK file onto the BlueStacks home screen.
  4. Wait a few seconds for the installation to complete. Once done, the installed app will appear on the BlueStacks home screen. Click its icon to start using the application.

Using LDPlayer

  1. Download and install LDPlayer from https://www.ldplayer.net.
  2. Drag the APK/XAPK file directly into LDPlayer.

I have tried with the phone own headset and with a Jawbone Icon bluetooth headset too. Nothing could be heard. Phone and Sms preview never worked. :(

Voice notification app that will speak the contact name on an incoming call and an incoming Text Message. You have the option to create a greeting for what to say before and after the contact. Also has the ability to easily turn off Text Message notifications or phone notifications with the touch of a button. You can also manipulate the volume which is used specifically for Voice Notifications so as not to interfere with your music or ringtone volume. If your phone is in Silent or Vibrate mode Voice Notifications will automatically be silenced as well. Voice Notifications now has the ability for you to create a unique message for specific contacts(only for phone calls at the moment). Start personalizing your Voice Notifications!

** Must have A Text-To-Speech Library installed or else notifications will not speak. To find one you can search 'Text-To-Speech' in the android market **
