Not sure what the complaints on here are about. I didn't even look at the website for instructions as it seemed to be very simplified. Opened package, unplugged router, connected plug to wiboot. Connected other end to router. Waited for everything to load back up. Downloaded app from store. It prompted me for wifi password which I entered. Tapped setup, it showed the mac id. Logged in with facebook and boom I was done. Hard to get easier than that...

EDIT 2 days later: true, scam. Device is broken after 2 days, random resets of modem, no way to reset device. Although it looks to work: indeed, bad quality, scam. All the opposite to other reviews; setup thru ip address (did not work with app), but here after app works fine; scheduled restart, etc. Before giving a bad review maybe rtfm??

Once you get the device to work, based on instructions from the site, then all is well. As a suggestion for future changes, it would be nice to keep a log of when a reboot took place.

They haven't released enough adapters so it will work with all modems. They won't respond to any inquiries and won't offer a refund/return for a device I cannot use.
