Well someone had thrown my AC into the pool so I had lots of issue changing the tempture. I tried this app It worked but turn On/Off didn't work. The remote which worked for me was not the remote of the AC I have which is Carrier Crystal Plus but I am glad another remote worked..

The remote of my 8 year old carrier window ac conked off during this current covid lockdown.. fat chance of getting a replacement anytime soon. Found that my spare phone has an IR blaster.. this app has a catalog of pictures various remotes.. found the one that I have. Pressed the power button and my AC beeped in response. Awesome 👍
