This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing Wear App Manager on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

  1. Download the APK/XAPK file from this page.
  2. Install BlueStacks by visiting http://bluestacks.com.
  3. Open the APK/XAPK file by double-clicking it. This action will launch BlueStacks and begin the application's installation. If the APK file does not automatically open with BlueStacks, right-click on it and select 'Open with...', then navigate to BlueStacks. So far it looks really handy, but I can't seem to uninstall watchfaces that I've uninstalled from my phone before. It would be great if I could uninstall apps on a per device basis as well. Also, if it would have sideloading capabilities (for installing APKs downloaded from other sources and stored on the phone).

No Updates, like how i will be able to load new watch faces with this app? Really not a fan of Facer after installing a lot of problem started appearing like battery backup issue and not Charging issue. I purchased this app after coming across a tutorial which tells about installing any watch faces through this app. Oke then, may i know what all i can do with this app?

It prompts to install on the watch but the watch wants me to pay again but even if you do click pay you get an error and it doesn't install. To add to that you can't get a refund as the app isn't compliant with Google pay policy. Avoid it, it's a rip off. No problem getting a refund on other wear os apps this is the only one I have had this issue with and there are a few other reviews reporting the same issue with this app.

Google playstore does take a while to make your purchase available on the watch. Took about a half day. I was hoping I could find a list of running apps so I could kill them. But haven't found it yet 😉

Can't get it to work. Unable to install on to TW Pro running latest Wear O/S. Pixel 3XL on Android 10. Got a refund, shame because it looks great.

Glorious. This app has functionality that SHOULD be part of the official Google Wear OS app. It is VITAL for any Wear OS user. Thank you to the devrloper(s) for making this. It's worth every penny

About this app

Wear App Manager runs on your phone but manages the apps you have installed on your Wear OS watch. See all your Wear apps (and only your Wear apps) at a glance, and see more details about any of them. Easily uninstall ones you're not using. Wear App Manager puts you in control of your Wear apps at last.

NOTE: Google Play frequently seems to take a while to sync ownership to the watch, during which time it won't let you install, asking you to pay again. You just need to give it a little time, and then you can go ahead. I've opened a support ticket with them, but the wheels of Google grind slowly. Leaving a 1⭐ review here helps nobody!

ALSO: it's not possible to uninstall system apps from the watch, by any means (including this app).
