This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing Date Status Bar 2 on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

Android 9: only white font color work, no green in Free version. Worked fine but it disappeared on startup, won't restart. Need to reinstall in order to make it work again. Note: app needs to show month and day as 2 separate notification icons, thus having 2 swipe down notifications, so if you are wondering why you have duplicates in swipe down notifications that is why. Didn't like having to reinstall to make it work, but when I need month and day to show for important Screenshots, I'll K.I.M.

It works fine. But, I do have a couple of problems with it. Now I use the app on my Samsung Galaxy Tab A (2019) that I just got and it does a couple things that drive me up the wall. 1) I have the option checked to start with the phone - it doesn't; I have to open the app to get it to display. 2)For some odd reason there are two dates (the SAME except for background color) shown when I pull the notifications down (I hope you get what I'm saying). Otherwise, it works fine.

After installing I noticed the date was a day late. Not sure why the developer did not include a reset option. Uninstalled.

About this app

Displays the day of the week and month side by side in your status bar.
Date Status Bar 2 shows the current day and month in the top status bar. The date fits right in and appears as if its part of the Android OS unlike some apps.

The month can be displayed in 2 formats.
1. As a number i,e 03 for March
2. As English 3 characters i.e Mar for March
