This closes by itself ALL the time. I have to restart it at least once a day. I've used this app for many years on many phones but it's gotten ridiculous. I am exploring other apps.

Was good at one time. Now the date no longer remains on left, & neither remains in stasus bar top items for long... Needs manual cleanup of new notifications before or becomes visible. Not useful anymore, uninstalling

I've had for years but the date doesn't consistently stay on in the status bar... which was the whole point. switched to a different app because of this. i hung in there for a long while... did updates too. Just defeats the purpose to have to do that. 😕 Hopefully they'll be a fix where "on" means it really starts and stays on, without having to manually turn it on. FYI i stayed so long because nothing else was consistent either or as much. So that's a plus, we shall see how this new thing go

I am using date is status bar app. The date is displayed in top left corner where the icons of other notifications is displayed. Whenever there are more than 3 notifications, the date gets hidden. This happens almost every hour as there are lot of notifications that keep coming every hour. Please let me know if there is any solution to this problem.

Bait/switch app Every time you touch anything in the app you get a full page ad you can't close for several seconds. This is a bait app where dev posts a faulty app just to get as many ad runs as possible before the user uninstalls it. Dev should know users are not as clueless as he/she thinks we are. App fails on Galaxy Note 8

It's great. It's white when it needs to be and black when it needs to be. Always visible in the status bar. Perfect. For those people whining about colors, it's Android that screwed us over with that downgrade, not the devs.
