Apparently no way to install/update apps or firmware on glasses. Most preinstalled apps on glasses (Skype, Instagram, etc) are unusable. App is totally different from Vuzix documentation.

From a galaxy a3 2016 on Android 6.0, impossible to connect to the glasses, even though the BT connection happened smoothly. Very frustrating as there are no help available.

It took a upgrade to get my m-100 had to connect to app. DL (vuzix smart glasses system file manager) the program needs to run on your pc first. Then plug in your glasses, must be off. It will fetch info from device, then will display a message, turn glasses on, then click OK, device will then register current version. Then I had to look up m100 drivers on Google, found m100-r2.7.zip. I used the file manager m100 OS update( browsed m100-r2.7.zip on desktop) it asked for the device to be plugged in again, must be off, then halfway through it will prompt the message again, turn device back on to update,... after all that my glasses finally registered on Bluetooth screen. Then I was able to use app.. As for new apps the file manager has a app control button, I use apk extractor to get copies .apk of apps on devices I own, apps I downloaded from play store, the app apk I then transferred to my laptop, then browsed my computer using the app control browser to find apk to flash to device, .. not all apps were compatible, but when choosing apks to flash, you can pick multiple files from your library, (it will ask a question , click yes on all,) it will only upload compatible apks, so you don't have to later remove residual corrupt files.
