This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing DroidDreamKiller on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

  1. Download the APK/XAPK file from this page.
  2. Install BlueStacks by visiting http://bluestacks.com.
  3. Open the APK/XAPK file by double-clicking it. This action will launch BlueStacks and begin the application's installation. If the APK file does not automatically open with BlueStacks, right-click on it and select 'Open with...', then navigate to BlueStacks. Description

This app was quickly put together to allow you to create a file on your phone that will act as a "stop file"
If the DroidDream malware finds this file on your phone, it will decide not to infect it.

This is accurate as of 03/02/11 and there is no guarantee that this particular piece of malware or another one will not change their behavior and start ignoring this file.
