Absolutely yes. Once you grant camera or microphone usage permission to an app, you never know exactly how and when that app is using that permission. While most of the apps use these permissions when required, but there can always be some apps on your device that use it without even letting you know. Q. I see the indicator dot when I open the Privacy Indicator app. Is Privacy Indicator also using my camera or microphone ?
That's a good question. But no, Privacy Indicator never uses the Camera or Mic on your device. It only shows up there to help you customise the indicator dot in real-time.
