This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing Vitotrol on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

  1. Download the APK/XAPK file from this page.
  2. Install BlueStacks by visiting http://bluestacks.com.
  3. Open the APK/XAPK file by double-clicking it. This action will launch BlueStacks and begin the application's installation. I wish it works for me me but it does not- it just will not connect or cant be configured with my 222 system. Despite registration at the web page I am unable to create any system cause this wizard has only LAN modules on the list, while i am using wi-fi. From month to month i am more and more disappointed with 'quality' of Viessmann apps. Too bad, print screens in google play look very promising.

Registration doesnt work. Vicare app no issue. This one is epic fail.

I had account that was working before but unable to login now, are you forcing users to use the vicare app where the login is working? The vicare app has like 5% of the funtionality. Your app dev strategy is so lame.

I am very disappointing. The system is very slow: it takes almost 2 minutes to connect and updated status.

Convenient and efficient operation of your heating system.

The Viessmann Vitotrol app allows you to operate Viessmann heating systems with Vitotronic control units. Operation of the app is simple, easy and convenient from anywhere and at any time of the day. The Vitotrol app uses has a context-sensitive help function.

The Vitotrol app will provide access to the following functions of the Vitotronic heating circuit control unit:
• Easy setting of heating program, set room temperature, domestic hot water temperature, holiday program and time program.
• Clear display of the operating parameters including all relevant temperatures.
• Display of efficiency data including solar yield and hours run.

To use all the functions of the Vitotrol app, the Viessmann communication device Vitocom 100 type LAN1 and a DSL router are required.

Shutdown support for out of date Vitotrol App version 4.1.x
Are you using Vitotrol App with out of date software version (Version 4.1.x or older) on your mobile device? Then please read the following:

The support of the old software version will end in December 2015! Then the affected users will not be able to connect to their Vitocoms or receive any notifications on their mobile devices any more. The use of Vitodata on "vitodata100.com" is independent from that and is still available.

Since August 2014, Vitotrol App Version 4.2.x (Actual Version 4.2.1) has been available for Apple and Android devices.
Besides, the new major release Version 4.3.x was published in December 2015.
The affected users should do the following steps to reactivate their Vitotrol App again:

Please update the Vitotrol App or reinstall it on your mobile device.
For Updating , please read the update instructions for apps on your mobile device
For Reinstalling, please start Apple Store (iPhone or iPad) or Google Play (Android devices) and search for "Vitotrol App"
Then, follow the recommended steps. After installation, please start the Vitotrol App. Log in once again to your Vitotrol App.

Then you can use your Vitotrol App again.
