This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing WiFi Advisor on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

  1. Download the APK/XAPK file from this page.
  2. Install BlueStacks by visiting http://bluestacks.com.
  3. Open the APK/XAPK file by double-clicking it. This action will launch BlueStacks and begin the application's installation. If the APK file does not automatically open with BlueStacks, right-click on it and select 'Open with...', then navigate to BlueStacks. MAKE SURE IT'S UPDATED- I had to track down an iPad to get the unit updated then was a flawless process . Would like to see a supplemental update method different like usb. Other than that, I am happy with the app.

Great tool to have, helps find in home WiFi noise, test for installation and best possible location for modem/emta location. Great troubleshooting device, a must for WiFi techs.
