Installation Instructions

This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing Sia Client on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

  1. Download the APK/XAPK file from this page.
  2. Install BlueStacks by visiting http://bluestacks.com.
  3. Open the APK/XAPK file by double-clicking it. This action will launch BlueStacks and begin the application's installation. If the APK file does not automatically open with BlueStacks, right-click on it and select 'Open with...', then navigate to BlueStacks. Alternatively, you can drag-and-drop the APK file onto the BlueStacks home screen.
  4. Wait a few seconds for the installation to complete. Once done, the installed app will appear on the BlueStacks home screen. Click its icon to start using the application.

Using LDPlayer

The app works as it should considering its on a mobile phone ... You do have to have patience with it because it does take quite some time to download and when I mean quite some time I mean it took mine over 24 hours ... But once installed it works like it should just make sure you sync it at least once a week I would recommend!

I really love the Sia project. I even mine my own SiaCoin. However, the problem I'm having is the app crashes any time I want to retrieve files that I have uploaded. My phone is the Note 10+ 5G. I hope you can update the app soon so I can give it a 5 star!

Wallet takes forever to sync! I downloaded last night and still synching! I transferred my coins, but fear that I may have lost them because I still don't see them in the Wallet! If the coins show up, I'm not sure of what else I may encounter trying to remove them. PLEASE DO NOT DOWNLOAD THIS APP!!!!

The app works fine, yes it may take a little time to sync but I've found most blockchains do and it is only early days. However I tried to send some SC but I keep getting a msg "invalid addres"?. The address I am sending to is bittrex exchange and I copied and pasted it?

Okay look I've already sent my siacoin to this wallet before it synced up.. once the app finish syncing it stopped going to the wallet when I open the app it just goes to a screen telling me to subscribe sign up now for a free 7-Day trial and it will let me do absolutely nothing else this is completely ridiculous I need access to my funds immediately without having to pay a subscription you need to tell me how to bypass this feature so I can access my wallet without subscribing

Long sync time (over one week with undependable internet connection), and had to subscribe to the cloud service to activate wallet...that done wallet works fine. Simple and clean user interface. Traded for my sia via CoinSwitchlPRO with no kyc or problem. GO SIA!
