Wow, what is the point of that? Sure I can run what is in the editor on my phone in real time over a USB connection but most of my game functionality doesn't work. Where's my Rotate? Why do my Sphere's suddenly correctly work on Android when they shouldn't, the problem I'm trying to solve. When I disconnect from Unity Remote 5 I get all the functionality I had before, bugs and all. This does nothing for me.

I have a 2d game and tried to test it and it did not work. I put yes for the location and files but as for the laptop i did do as it asks. I put edit then clicke project settings and editor. Nothing happens....just a window in the hiearchy and i put the excact settings but still nothing. I even tried switiching the cables to my laptop and even different usb ports as well as changing the charging option to file exchange but whatever i try it defdenatly does not work for me. And everything is updated too.

Makes Android testing much easier and faster graphics quality is low but it's better than nothing. As to ppl having problems .make sure you have USB debugging enabled in the developer setting :P

I actually eeally like this but the hassle of getting it to work is frustrating. Serisously add the ability to visually confirm the order of operations and that the connection is made. Make it step by step with lights that go green and red for all i care but seriously...just a little more user friendly pls

After all the hoops you have to jump through to get this to actually work all it does is display the editor's game view on your phone. Did not function like a build, UI doesn't scale to the phones resolution. If you have any code that only executes on android it won't because all this does is just mirrors the editor. Usless for debugging UI, guess it's back to build, transfer, run, repeat. Would be better if this just built to the phone without USB connection.

This doesn't run after trying like 150 different things - drivers, adb.exe, sdk, jdk, ndk, unity project and build settings, restart, rerun, disable-enable, phone dev configuration... and many more. Nothing works! I have to actually build and install every time I wish to test a run. How disappointing!

About this app

With Unity Remote 5, you can use an Android device to view and test your game live, right inside the Unity Editor 5.4 or later. Unity Remote 5 makes your Android device act as remote control. It streams touch, accelerometer, gyroscope, webcam and screen orientation change events back to Unity Editor. This is useful for rapid development when you don't want to compile and deploy your project to Android device for each change and prefer to use the Unity Editor Game window instead.
