Thanks for sharing such a great tool to fight censorship. The vpn itself works in China, but the problem is the app uses a server list downloaded from internet every time it starts, and that is where the blockage happens. The firewall finds its list server and block it then the whole app won't work. Once it has server list downloaded or you use your own, it runs pretty well. So I suggest the developer to find a different way to update the server list, or at least let the user to keep it locally.

The gui interface has a bug...major bug...like junior programmer bug. No way to copy the public key so it can pasted to the server configuraton page for the client. Even worse. The end of the key is hidden. Totally useless.

Best vpn program ever. No ads. No purchase. Very fast.you can choose the country of proxy. You can choose what app in your phone do you want to let vpn run into it. If you want to benefit more you need to disable the battery optimize for this app and make vpn option is always on from the phone settings. Thanks for making such a great app but when the vpn is on i can't send or download any media on whatsapp

Copied config over from official Wireguard client. Doesn't connect (switch flickers and stays in off position). No error message, no way to get any logging, and I now have a permanent notification indicating the VPN failed that I can't swipe away. Multiple devices (Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 8.0, Galaxy S8+) and Android versions (7, 8 and 9) affected.

When I am connected to the tun safe servers my traffic doesn't go through the VPN, despite it saying the connection is successful. My IP address is not hidden. Left all the settings as default, reinstalled the app, triple checked all the settings. This app 100% doesnt work and does not protect your privacy at all.

Miles better than the rubbish Go implementation in the WireGuard app, this is a proper C++ implementation. Being able to exclude apps is a nice touch - there's a reason why apps like DNS66 default to excluding system apps - Android doesnt take kindly to system apps being stuck behind restrictive VPN. Would be nice to see a toggle for excluding all system apps in one go

About this app

TunSafe is a free app which let you connect to WireGuard compatible VPN servers.

TunSafe VPN for Android uses the official TunSafe VPN servers by default. When using those, there's no need to setup an account, just click a single button and all your Internet traffic will be routed anonymously through our servers.

You can also use a custom WireGuard configuration file from any WireGuard VPN provider of your choice.

When connected TunSafe encrypts all your traffic and hides your original IP address. With the LAN-IP bypass & Excluded apps features you can customize what traffic that should bypass the VPN connection. When Kill-Switch is enabled all internet traffic will be blocked in case the VPN connection is lost.

Unlike other WireGuard clients, TunSafe is written in the C++ programming language to minimize cpu usage, memory usage, and extend battery life.
