This replaces the flashing LED notification light on my old phone. I've never understood why such a useful feature seems to have disappeared from so many new phones, and I was really pleased to find this app. It's very clever, in that it senses when the phone is in a bag or pocket, and doesn't waste battery power flashing when you won't see it. Also, it's easy to choose which apps to include - I only have a few very important ones. Highly recommended.

Update 20200722: Still Worked after Android 10 update! Worked on the rear Flash on Moto g7 power. Would be nice if Flash power can be turned down. Dear app developer, here is the trick to turn down Flash power: use a very short Flash blink time! ie turn on Flash and QUICKLY turn it off! This way, you can have different levels of brightness too! Thanks! update: reliable app worked after June 2019 Android update. 2019Nov30 update on moto g7 power. Continues to work reliability! Thumbs up! 5 Stars!

My Motorola G7 Play has no notification light (they want me to use these silly 'gestures' instead) but this app does the job just fine. The flash is very bright but that's not the app's fault. It's easily configurable to flash on specific notifications and all that. A well-built app, definitely recommended.

Very cool app. Wish it had the capability to dim the flash. Other than that it's awesome especially since motorola decided to do away with the built in light. Sounds like dictatorship. Yes please tell me I don't need it because you think so. Hitler lives.p

I today installed this app on my old HomTom HT-50, the phone with android7, and which already has a LED notification lamp on itself, and everything works very nice imo, I do not have complains at all. After that, I tried to install same app to my new phone Alcatel 3X PRO, which has Android 9 Pie on it, and which does not have ANY LED notifications at itself at all. But, when trying to install the app on this new ANdroid 9 Pie Phone, I got the message from the Google Play it is not possible to install this nice and wise app to my new phone!?!? Such a mess, I hope the software maker of this app will soon make it possible work on Android 9 phones too. Just because most of NEW smartphones are factory made "blind" without any LED notifications on front panel, obviously ignoring close to deaf people who can not hear ringing bell or short sms voice notifications. Please, answer if you have any solution for installing this gorgeus app to bothering Android 9 Pie OS

Excelent app. Did what it made for. No issue in using. Can be improved for more battery friendly (in terms background running, not flash light blink consumption)

About this app

By installing this application, as soon as you receive a notification there is a flash as your phone starts blinking for the LED notification.
It can be useful to anyone that has a device without the LED notification, but instead have a flash next to the selfie camera.

It also extends the concept of notification to the unread badges received from the applications (ex. the "Facebook like"). So, when an unread badge pops up, in the same way as a "normal" notification the flash starts blinking and you will be notified of what's going on.
Various settings are also available to better configure the application to suit your needs.

It works on all devices equipped with a front flash, regardless of whether or not they have the hardware LED notification.
