This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing tpPhone on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

  1. Download the APK/XAPK file from this page.
  2. Install BlueStacks by visiting http://bluestacks.com.
  3. Open the APK/XAPK file by double-clicking it. This action will launch BlueStacks and begin the application's installation. If the APK file does not automatically open with BlueStacks, right-click on it and select 'Open with...', then navigate to BlueStacks. Sounds nice in principle, but seems abandoned! I can connect with galaxy note 9 and VR2600v and place calls, but the microphone doesn't seem to work, ie I can hear the other person, but they can't hear me. A shame they seem to have all but abandoned this app (I can't even find it in the playstore on my tablet).

"voip modem router not found" is the furthest i get. You ever going to update this app and let newer tplink devices work with it? Archer VR1600v.

Phone calls always get interrupted after 1 or 2 minutes. Pretty unusable that way.
