Would be a great app but when I am trying to sleep I do not want a spotlight illuminating the whole room. Make it have an adjustable brightness.

Would give all 5 but my trackball and the few actual buttons stay lit up... could u fix that HTC hero other than that it does what I wanted.

Needs am/pm, date and maybe a battery icon, yeah it won't make it as simple but much more effective
