Installation Instructions

This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing Car Mode Trigger on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

  1. Download the APK/XAPK file from this page.
  2. Install BlueStacks by visiting http://bluestacks.com.
  3. Open the APK/XAPK file by double-clicking it. This action will launch BlueStacks and begin the application's installation. If the APK file does not automatically open with BlueStacks, right-click on it and select 'Open with...', then navigate to BlueStacks. Alternatively, you can drag-and-drop the APK file onto the BlueStacks home screen.
  4. Wait a few seconds for the installation to complete. Once done, the installed app will appear on the BlueStacks home screen. Click its icon to start using the application.

Using LDPlayer

About this app

Car mode is a feature on most android devices that is triggered when your device is placed in a car dock.

This app, Car Mode Trigger has two Functions that make this feature more useful.

There is the trigger:
Enables or disables car mode for those of us with out a Car Dock but wish to use car mode features on our android devices.

Then there is the Car Mode Launcher:
This feature allows you to launch any app when your device is put in to car mode or docked in a car dock. In other words it will replace your home screen with an app of your choosing when in car mode (or when your android device docked in a car dock). So pressing the home button on your device will open or return to which ever app you selected in CMT Settings.
When car mode exits (or you remove your device from a car dock), it simply restores your normal home screen.

It is very simple to use and very straight forward.

It will create three icons in your app drawer
(1) CMT - Settings: (List Icon) used to select the app you want Car Mode trigger to launch if using the Car Mode Launcher

(2) CMT - Car Mode: (Steering Wheel Icon) use to launch the app selected from the Selector

(3) CMT - Trigger: (Key Icon) Toggles on/off Car Mode on your android device. When enabled you should receive a "car mode" icon in your notification drawer allowing you to disable car mode when selected.
