This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing Telstra StayConnected on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

  1. Download the APK/XAPK file from this page.
  2. Install BlueStacks by visiting http://bluestacks.com.
  3. Open the APK/XAPK file by double-clicking it. This action will launch BlueStacks and begin the application's installation. If the APK file does not automatically open with BlueStacks, right-click on it and select 'Open with...', then navigate to BlueStacks. Don't use Telstra! Especially this service. Didnt even want Telstra stay connect cause in the last 3 years it simply has not worked, and the first time I signed up it wasn't activated properly in-store meaning I couldn't use it for the whole duration of that contract. Now I've swapped plans and asked for no extras, just got my first bill for this contract and it's there!? For 15$ so I decided to see if anything has changed. Nope still just freezes and is unusable. Definitely leaving Telstra at the end of this contract.

Telstra sent me an email to download the app. When I open it, it doesn't work. Then I see reviews almost 6monyhs old saying it doesn't work. Good to see Telstras quality is improving...

Anything Telstra is a rip off. Then when you call customer service in Australia on Australian numbers you get put straight through to the Philippines and have to deal as best you can with prejudiced hard to understand Philippino's.

Factory reset my phone. Downloaded stay connected and app won't open. Very disappointed

Since the latest update the app no longer opens. Freezes on the opening screen then shuts down. Thanks for putting my phone at risk guys!
