The geiger reading jumps every time there's a sharp loud noise in the room. If I snap my fingers the geiger counter jumps up so I would have to say it doesn't work at all. Waste of money, don't buy their products.

on sony xperia z and z3 is workink fine, giving reasonable temp and hum. on Samsung s9+ is giving ridiculously values of temperature(105°c)and humidity(100%), hope they will come with some app update.

downloaded for the geiger attachment...sampled uranium glass, trinitite, firealarm, and trinium, all with no results. only responds to sounds(attatched to microphone jack). non functioning piece of s***!

The sensor was a load of rubbish reading - 46.8°c in my bedroom.

I bought the EM, VL, UV, IR, and Geiger detector that attaches to the earphone jack of my phone. It's not cheap, I bought it on aliexpress for around 30 usd each. I was expecting it to work constantly, but then these detectors work like pulses. I mean I cannot tell for sure if the EM and IR are really zero here but the VL definitely I could tell it shouldn't spike from like 300+, 400+ to zero 'cause there's constant light source. So it stops detecting then I wait for it to go back to detecting mode again after a few seconds. I also don't like the fact that it doesn't tell me what the values mean, like the Geiger, or EM, there's no good/bad meter. So I would still have to research before I get the interpretation, which is what I bought it for. It's just not that helpful. It might be that or I just don't know how to use this, but there's no instructions on how the reading works so it's still their fault.
