It's a cool app-but guy, what I'm actually looking for is a reverse of what you have designed. I'm looking for a link opener that can open any link without having the native app installed, that way I can open the link in any of my devices without having the native app installed in all of them. I've searched through all app stores but found none close to this except yours. So giving the right leverage, you can achieve this in your subsequent updates and you will be the best.

Cool, but i expected the link to be open directly in app, not through another "share" step. Still, this is a cool app. In the meantime, it can help me with Chrome issue.

Set as Browser does not work on Android 10 phone. A recognized link always opens in the system default browser (Firefox) and then I have to share it to OLW, then it will open the right app. OLW doesn't appear as one of the choices in Default Apps / Browser App.

This app is horrible oh, it does not work the way they claim it works and becomes more of a pain in the ass then anyting. You think you have it set up until everything is screwed up and everything is opening in the browser instead of the app and there's no way too easily reset that other than going through and erasing all data to the app. I just as soon get rid of the app instead of dealing with it again and again and again don't waste your time

Works sometimes but there's a lot of context where it just doesn't work at all. EG: I'm on the Mozilla website, they have a Riot/Matrix channel I want to join, and I have the Riot/Matrix app. When I click the link, it opens a new browser tab with the Riot/Matrix login page. That's normal. But now, if I try to share that login page with "Open Links With" (Riot/Matrix app) ... It only suggest browsers and not a single other app I have. Definitely not what I expected...

This is the perfect app to open anything on my phone that has been set to browser automatically. Just paste the link and it's all ready to go, you can change the settings according to yourself, has really helped me a lot and has been my everyday tool for more than 5 months. Plus it has no ads so win win.

About this app

Share the current web page when you are in a browser to open with another app!

Did it ever happen to you? You click a link (let's say a video link) and the system does not ask you anything and opens the link in the browser. And you are stuck in a web page instead of watching the video in the native app.

There are 2 options for you. You either watch the video in the web or you remember the name of the video and search it in the app. Well, not anymore.

With OpenLinkWith, you can share any webpage with it and it will ask you which applications to open the link with.

Although the original intent of the application is to direct web pages to apps, it can even be used to switch between apps. Imagine you have 2 Twitter clients in your phone. You can open a tweet in the official Twitter application and then switch to an another app with the same tweet opened. Cool, hah?

Although the problem discovered above is not huge, it is missing in the Android ecosystem. And I couldn't find anything doing this. So I wrote one. :)

If you find yourself sharing the same url over and over, you can use "Add to Home Screen" feature to add your favorite link from your favorite app to your home screen.

I hope you find this useful. Please help me by trying it and sending feedback to me.

Note:
The app uses internet to:
- Send crash reports
- Resolve redirects of shortened links
- Find the title of the link while using "Add to Home Screen"
