It'd be really great to be able to whitelist some networks to skip using tailscale on (company net/home networks, 4g?), and have it on for everything else (Hotel wifis etc)

Great simple vpn capability, would be even greater if the android app could also offer a dark mode. So simple to create multi-point vpn mesh network. Install the client on your devices and you end up with a mesh vpn network irrespective of where your devices are, they just need to be able to access the internet outbound - inbound connections are taken care of by the free service.

About this app

Tailscale is a mesh VPN alternative that makes it easy to connect your devices, wherever they are. No more fighting configuration or firewall ports. Built on WireGuard®, Tailscale enables an incremental shift to zero-trust networking by implementing “always-on” remote access. This guarantees a consistent, portable, and secure experience independent of physical location.

WireGuard is a registered trademark of Jason A. Donenfeld.
Tailscale is a VPN application using the Android VpnBuilder framework.

New features

Fixed: Exposing port 8080 to other devices on your tailnet works as expected
