This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing tag8 on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

  1. Download the APK/XAPK file from this page.
  2. Install BlueStacks by visiting http://bluestacks.com.
  3. Open the APK/XAPK file by double-clicking it. This action will launch BlueStacks and begin the application's installation. If the APK file does not automatically open with BlueStacks, right-click on it and select 'Open with...', then navigate to BlueStacks. Alternatively, you can drag-and-drop the APK file onto the BlueStacks home screen.
  4. Wait a few seconds for the installation to complete. Once done, the installed app will appear on the BlueStacks home screen. Click its icon to start using the application.

0 rating. It doesn't allow you to get in. Says that it has sent a verification mail for registration, which doesn't come. Later on when you try to enter,says that e-mail id is not entered and therefore you cannot enter. There was a possibility that I had not keyed in the correct e-mail id (misspelling). To check on this, I tried the option of Forgot Password and gave the correctly spelt e-mail id. No Dice! The verification mail still did not come through. Probably a bogus site.

Asks for a code. Says will be sent to email and phone number. No code received in email. Code received in SMS is invalid again and again and again...

1. Attach andActivate Tags:

Step i- Attach your tag: Find a highly visible are on your valuable and attach it
Step ii – Activate tag: Click on “Activate Tag” in tag8 mobile app or on the website and follow instructions or simply call us or WhatsApp us on +91 902 900 8248

2. If You Lose

In case valuable is lost, you can, through the mobile application, “report lost” and also announce a reward, to supplementtag8’s Finder Reward Program.You can also choose the option of “broadcast to tag8 network”. This action sends notification to fellow tag8 users in the vicinity of loss. tag8 app also makes it easy for you to share the loss with your relevant friend circles with just a click. tag8 partners with lost & found departments which will intimate us in case the same has been deposited there

If you don’t “report lost”, the recovery process is initiated once a “Find Report” is submittedwith the lost valuable’s Unique ID.

3. Someone Finds

Due to easy instructions and reward messaging on the tag, there is a high probability that the Finder will “Report Find” either on our call centre, website or mobile app. tag8 verifies the product details and intimatesthe ownerabout it. Also, if there is additional owner reward, the same is communicated to the Finder. On verification and being satisfied with its condition, the lost recovery is initiated.

4. We Reward Finder

tag8 valuesthe honesty and integrity of the Finder and offers reward for returning the valuables to its rightful Owner. tag8 offers sponsored gifts, tag8 products and recognition certificate as rewards to the Finder. tag8 also encourages owners to offer an optional monetary reward for the Finder. Finder has the option of donating the same to charity of his choice.

5. We reunite back with you

Valuable is collected from the Finder by tag8’s logistics team and it is delivered to the Owner. In cases where logistics is not possible, tag8 facilitates meeting between owner and finder with prior consent from both. Tag8 also has a network of drop points where Finder can deposit the found valuable.

Warranty Management is a value-added service that tag8 offers on valuables that are registered for Lost & Found.You can store ownership documents, build an online repository for referencing warranty-related information, receive expiry alerts and trigger warranty claims.
