The one thing that this app is missing is the ability to detect if you have media playing on an app (such as you're watching a YouTube video via Chromecast) and to get a few need to close other apps allowing the app that is running media to still run. That would be inconvenient for stuff like Netflix and Hulu among other well-known streaming apps. Aside from that I still need to figure out exactly how much battery this runs in the background which will determine if I change my score later.

I installed yesterday and purchased full version. It works exceptionally well. I froze all apps that were running except essential system apps. It stopped overheating due to battery drain and increased my connectivity by not allowing unused apps to receive notifications and Snooping 3rd party apps. I play games on mobile data. It has made a huge difference. My battery stays fully charged with USB charger connected. Before my phone would overheat and battery drain was excessive. Thanks Devo team

This app does a better job of extending battery life than any so-called "battery saving" app - especially if you buy the version that hibernates system apps. Puts active apps (except for those you put on your "Exception List" ) into deep sleep mode. Please note that some apps have the ability to wake themselves back up and that there may be a few system apps that this just won't work on. Other than that - this app is perfect.

Bought the full version, which lets you hibernate system apps. It disabled my alarms, and even with the clock app on my excluded list, they still aren't working. In retrospect I should have been more selective when deciding what apps to hibernate. This app 100% does what it says, but be aware that it might not be a good idea to disable all those apps, so maybe not suitable for a casual user. Hibernator could definitely benefit from some idiot proofing.

This is a very minimalistic app to hibernate my apps, and that is its greatest strength, its minimalism. I only have one complaint, and that complaint is the fact that this app is unable to keep some apps hibernated. One of the apps that keeps on opening is Google Play Store, and the other apps would be easier to find if you tested this app on a Galaxy Note 8. In any case, thanks for creating this app, because now over 200 system and user apps have been hibernated which probably helps a bit on saving power and performance, but I haven't done any tests. Without tests, using my phone does FEEL quicker than before, and now when I use other applications I FEEL like their opening much quicker or snappier. (Edited review) = In any case, thank you to the Hibernator team for responding and making this app! After a couple of days, this app really does work. When I run this app, than turn off my phone(just by clicking the power button) for 8 hours, it saves 4% or sometimes more battery life!

I completely recommend this to my Motorola users, it does everything it says it will, it does indeed close the apps in the background. But the app is super slow, understandable but really annoying when 78 apps are running after you restart the phone. I completely recommend that if you shut your phone off daily, do it before you go to bed, so first thing in the morning, you can drink coffee while the app hibernates background apps, and if you buy pro, you can get more RAM meaning more space! ❤️
