This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing System Uptime on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

  1. Download the APK/XAPK file from this page.
  2. Install BlueStacks by visiting http://bluestacks.com.
  3. Open the APK/XAPK file by double-clicking it. This action will launch BlueStacks and begin the application's installation. If the APK file does not automatically open with BlueStacks, right-click on it and select 'Open with...', then navigate to BlueStacks. Alternatively, you can drag-and-drop the APK file onto the BlueStacks home screen.

simple and does its job. all i wanna know is my uptime for my roms stability and this app has helped me figure out that my rooted phone was rebooting at night with a simple click.

Works great, the new update let's me specify refresh rate, font color, and reboots my phone automatically. For those who can't read how to fix the crash, just clear data, uninstall, reinstall.

All this thing is supposed to do is count time. Why is that so difficult? This app constantly crashes and force closes every time I try to open it.

-Notes For Crashes Upon Updating-
Open the default android application manager by pressing the menu button.
Select Settings.
Select Applications.
Select Manage Applications.
Scroll To SystemUptime Select It.
Select "Clear Data" On The Following Screen. Push OK.
Select Uninstall. Push OK.
Reinstall SystemUptime.

Remember, error reports and suggestions should be directed to the developer via email, not the general public via comments.

-Storage (modify/delete SD card contents)
Required to operate on android 1.5 systems. This application does not actually modify any of your SD card contents.
-Phone Calls (read phone state and identity)
Required to operate on android 1.5 systems. This application does not actually access your phone calls or information in any manner.
