First of all, the name "Synology Drive" suggests that this app is a cloud Drive app. Well, it's not. It is just a Drive explorer - does not allow to sync local folders, only for viewing and downloading files. So basically it is a web browser for the Synology Drive. Name "Synology Driver Portal" or "Synology Drive Explorer" would be more accurate. Fortunately you can still use DS Cloud android app to sync your folders with the Synology Drive on your NAS. Furthermore the app has many bugs and problems. I was not able to connect to my NAS without contacting the support. Obviously that was not the case with DS Cloud. It feels like the Drive application was implemented by some other company than other Synology apps, without Quality Assurance process in place. I believe the UX of the application is terrible - no explanation of the fields to use, incorrect labels, error alerts which were false - figured it out after contacting the support. @Synology, I respect your company among others because of your software. I believe you have the best software for NAS servers and routers. But this particular android app is in my opinion below the quality level of your company. Please consider making some major changes to it. I know that if you want, you can make software that brings "wow" in me. Kind regards

Worthless. App will NOT connect to my Synology NAS DS1019+ via my home wifi of data. So this is a useless app. I have followed all instructions to connect,. I have search the internet of other option with NO luck. C/S has never responded to me about this issue. I love the NAS, they just have a worthless app!

The purpose of this app isn't clear from the app description, but I eventually figured out it's for accessing exactly one (I think) folder on my Synology NAS. I am not sure why this is more useful than DS File, their other app which is basically the same but can access all the folders on my NAS.

Installed, then saw I need Synology Drive Server on my NAS. Went to install, but the server requires Advanced Search to run. No. Just no. I do not want those stupid @eaDir folders all over the place, which AS creates even if there are no folders set to index. Uninstalled this app immediately. It's annoying enough that I had to use the cli to remove AS as it's not uninstallable from Package Manager. Synology stop trying to force Advanced Search on me. I hate it and don't want it!

Still rubbish after all the updates. Fix shared folder's permission syc. Fix data sync. Fix truncated folder and file names by extending the stock Android widgets and provide multiline support. If your programmers can't do this simple thing, then let others produce tools that people can use against your NAS devices. The list of problems is extensive. I'm better off just using SAMBA with a file explorer like Root Explorer, etc, than using this app.

Same as DS File. Very buggy app. Unusable Freezes. Locks up drive. Logins in only sometimes Additionally, it is called Synology Drive but only Drive once installed on Android. Very annoying when trying to search for the app. Going to simply use network browsing on PC to manage. Management on Android is non existant due to severe instability of app.
