The app indeed does what it's supposed to do. Much needed functionality in order to keep up and surpass all the other camera apps: -- Automatically switch to landscape orientation (or set by sensor or user settings) when viewing a single camera -- Double tap to zoom in to a spot, in the same single view -- Picture-in-picture (tapping Home will display a miniature player on top of other apps, for a single camera)

Latest version broke the aspect ratio when loading the app. I have to untick /re-tick "Fixed aspect ration" option to fix all cameras so they don't appear stretched. Also there is a error message at the bottom that shows up saying "The streaming is currently unstable..." Did not have these issues with older version. Edit: An update fixed the aspect ratio issue but I am still seeing "The streaming is currently unstable..." message.

Edit Sept 10, 2020... I change my rating from 2 stars to 4 because there was an update like on Sept. 9th and I could connect immediately on both wifi or celular without any issue on https or http with corresponding ports. Whatever was wrong was obviously fixed with last update. Sept 7: Stopped connecting... Now either at https or http, it won't connect. It used to connect just fine but since Sept 2020, this app has become useless. All my ports are forwarded properly.

Its okay but home mode doesn't work now. App permanently says it is checking my location . No matter where i am, even at home location. Update :almost a year later, different phone, different camera same result. Just will not go into home mode automatically when my phone enters the house, or connects to home WiFi. Constantly bombarded with motion alerts when sitting in the same room using my phone

App works just fine. No problems using on LAN or WAN on my Samsung Note-8. Time line no problem when viewing what was recorded. No lag no hesitation no bottlenecking in my opinion flawless. Running 9 IP cameras at their full potential to try and overload my bandwidth yet still app working fine. Plus running many other devices on my network. Many giving poor reviews with app. Not sure why? Other than poor quality networking equipment. App works as advertised. 👍

Updated review: I'm told that the playback/live view freezing after 10 seconds is a known issue for Pixel/Android 10 devices, 6 MONTHS LATER! it is still not updated or fixed. Don't get me wrong.. I absolutely love my Nas and have a new DS920+ in route... But the app development team needs to step up and support their users or allow the refund of camera licenses.
