This is the only app which i like for scrolling regardless of its issue but it's a pain to use. This app does what it says most of the time but it stops responding after an hour or so. There is no tutorial or a document which states the purpose of the button. For few days i thought that the reverse scrolling button was refresh the setting button because the app take too much time to respond that i didn't knew why it suddenly started scrolling upwards. I still don't know that do i need to press play and then adjust the speed or first tap on the backwards button. And then after the scrolling speed doesn't change instantly but after some time. Thus have to adjust the speed of scrolling for few times The buttons are not responsive enough, the speed adjustment is such a pain. The app setting changes to default when i close it thus have to go thrue painful process of adjusting it again. It would be nice if we get a multiple setting option or a setting manu which shows and allow user to adjust the speed manually and save that setting. And its a humble request to resolve the issue of lagging.

About this app

AutoScrollr is an app that allows you to turn on auto-scrolling inside any app. This means if you're reading an article, a website or just comments on Reddit, you don't have to keep manually scrolling up or down, AutoScrollr will automatically scroll for you!

You can turn on/off auto-scrolling, adjust the speed or change direction.

How to use:

1) Turn on the AutoScrollr service from the AutoScrollr app.
2) When you want to use auto-scrolling, open the notification area and tap on the AutoScrollr notification.
3) A floating icon will appear. Tap on the icon to expand the widget and press the Play button to start auto-scrolling!

Press the Pause icon to pause auto-scrolling, Fast Forward and Rewind icons to increase and decrease speed and the Reverse icons to change direction of auto-scrolling (down to up or up to down). Press the Close icon to collapse the widget.

AutoScrollr requires ROOT. This app will not work on unrooted devices at the moment. I am working on a way to make it work on unrooted devices, but in the meantime, only ROOTED devices are supported. Do not download this app if your device is NOT ROOTED.

Permissions used:

1) RECEIVE_BOOT_COMPLETED: To (optionally) start the AutoScrollr service on startup.
2) SYSTEM_ALERT_WINDOW: To display the AutoScrollr floating widget to control scrolling.

New features

Fixed:

* Crash when turning off the Autoscrollr service

App Permissions

Allows an application to receive the ACTION_BOOT_COMPLETED that is broadcast after the system finishes booting.
Allows an app to create windows using the type TYPE_APPLICATION_OVERLAY, shown on top of all other apps.
