About this app

Determine the location and distance to far off objects and locations using two methods.

Useful for such applications as Geocaching, Orienteering, Golf, Fishing etc.

Two Path method - Use this method to determine the GPS location of distant objects that are not on the same level as yourself, eg something in a valley or something on a hillside. Two readings are required, take the first reading by pointing , then move around the object as far as possible to a maximum of 90 degrees around, take the second reading and the location will be determined.

Trigonometry method - Use this method to determine the GPS location of distant objects that are on approximately the same level as you. Set the height of the camera above the ground, aim at the base of the object and tap the screen. Accurate over short distances.
