Awful ... For the past few months I have had the hardest time with service. I bought 2- monthly pin cards but only used 1 month, was told I didn't have any in reserve. I paid with PayPal and have transaction numbers. I have had to get another phone and trying to activate the thing, OMG... It took me 2 days to finally get it activated and it was bought thru straight talk. Hotspot.. the whole thing about hotspot sucks! I just started looking into other phone service carriers.

Straight talk used to be great. Now when I turn my hotspot on no matter what it always say connected with no internet. I will be definitely switching carriers. I pay extra for the card that has 10gb of hotspot but don't ever get to use it.

straight talk use to be wonderful but the last 6 months wifi has sucked and right now sitting on my couch I have no service at all. I have been with straight talk for several years now and it's set up for automatically withdrawal but I'm done why pay for something I can't use and have told them over and over again and no help. if you do get help you can't understand them half time anyways.

Any straight talk app is worth having. They have everything right in front for you to see. Plus receipts and deals to help any family who needs it. Thanks Straight Talk

There aren't no zeros so I'll have to give them a one.i bought the 45 dollars kit to activate my phone and it's almost been a month and I've only been able to use my phone for maybe 2 weeks at best.most of the time I lose internet and am unable to use phone at all.i have to wait till someone comes to my house who has a phone I can use to call straight talk and have them fix the problem, they won't even give me the minutes I've lost, they gave me 4 days.good thing I wasnt dying because I'd be dead.

At first I thought this would be something that just shows info that I can look up in my normal wifi menu but I was dead wrong! I was thinking about marking any wifi I come across on my Maps, but Straight Talk does it for me. Excellent idea and service.

About this app

The Straight Talk WiFi is a free app for your mobile device that finds, manages, and automatically connects to available WiFi hotspots. The app helps increase your device’s WiFi connections while minimizing your cellular data consumption by only turning WiFi on when and where needed.

The app enhances your Straight Talk Wireless service by providing a better data experience at no additional cost to you. The Straight Talk WiFi app includes the highlighted features below to help you get the most out of WiFi.

Highlighted App Features:

• Automatic WiFi: Straight Talk WiFi manages many quality hotspots and connects automatically when in range. Available hotspots for your area are updated daily keeping you current even when traveling.
• Your Own Hotspots: Add your own hotspots like your home or work to Straight Talk WiFi. These hotspots are kept private to you by the app.
• Hotspot Quality: Straight Talk WiFi not only monitors the signal strength of hotspots, but also their speed and access to the Internet. When quality issues arise, you are informed and given choices to handle them.
• Hotspots with Sign In: Most public hotspots have a "sign in" or "terms & conditions" page which you must agree to before accessing the Internet. You can use Straight Talk WiFi to automate many of them for you. For those that cannot be automated, you are notified so you can sign in yourself.
• Finding Hotspots: Go to the Map to view available hotspots. Download more hotspots for any area you wish by using the map commands.
• Data Usage Statistics: Keep track of how much data has been used over cellular vs WiFi through the Statistics graph in the app.
