The microphone of my kit has strange characteristics. I can hear the kid at the other end of the shop laughing just as well as the noise I'm trying to find. It's picking up noises from 30 feet away and they're just as loud as the wheel bearing I'm clamped to. Acoustically I don't know how to explain that. Diagnostically, it's the equivalent of noise in a waveform pattern. This makes 2 out of 2 Steelman acoustic products that have been garbage for me. Never using this brand again.

Truely tried to like it. $150 and ive only found one phone/tablet that doesnt shut down before starting and even then the clamp is a joke. The sound "wand" is pretty decent though. Dont buy unless all you need is a wand held by hand.

The tool will connect to my phone (S9+) but I can't get audio. I've uninstalled and reinstalled but still doesn't work right.

I have an S7 active. Managed to get it to work one time. Now there is no sound. NOT happy!!

Didnt work in any of my android devises, but i will say that the company has excelent customer service and is going above and beyond to make it right.
