Recording stops on the slightest pause which is extremely annoying. You almost have to talk really fast to keep it recording or it will stop repeatedly between words. It catches most words and the less common terms must be clearly enunciated. Using it is intuitive. There are no options for adjusting the recording speed, voice volume or intonation requirement to improve the capture and translation into words. There's no way to edit the captured text while recording.

It works very well, but Google saves a transcript and sends it to the app, which is very worrisome for a variety of reasons. There is no opt out option for that feature. Whether this data is used to improve the app's speech recognition capabilities or for illicit purposes one cannot be certain. Therefore, instead of a five star rating, I am giving it only 1 star. But, if you don't mind everything you record being public knowledge, it does an awesome job of converting speech to text.

The rating probably will go up after I use it but just with testing it. I have a disability that is unfortunate medicines rotted out my teeth. other keyboards don't pick my voice easily. this is really nice. I did so many tongue-twisting worda I can't say clearly and it picked up every word except for one and it's not a common word sure would be nice to record more than six words every time you press the button useless if you're using it for like I want to do my poetry or write

Right after first experience It is very good in capturing accurate almost 80%. I have a pretty strong Indian (Tamil )accent. Still it worked pretty well. It is recording very small sentences, rather it stops when we take a pause. It would have been better record till user stops. There is no periods on notes when stops though it starts with caps :). I ideally wanted this as my journal. I still need to use extensively for other features and I wish it serves the purpose.

At the outset let me congratulate you for a very welcome initiative. However, I have noticed some glaring blemishes like the voice recognition is not continuous and you have to press it on time and again. And the voice recognition is not that accurate and several mistakes have to be corrected manually. It should be AI based and should continuously adapt to the speaking style of the user. The most welcoming feature is that it offers offline voice recognition. Navigation needs to b better.

It recognizes speech very well, but I give only 4 stars because of 1. Sometimes it stops recognizing (I use a paid version) 2. It doesn't save my own speech with the note. Why should I listen computer-voice instead of mine? I'm preparing to PTE Academic exam, so to hear my on voice is an important part of preparation. Now, I have to use two different apps. One for speech recognition and another for recording my voice.
