This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing Speech Radar on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

  1. Download the APK/XAPK file from this page.
  2. Install BlueStacks by visiting http://bluestacks.com.
  3. Open the APK/XAPK file by double-clicking it. This action will launch BlueStacks and begin the application's installation. If the APK file does not automatically open with BlueStacks, right-click on it and select 'Open with...', then navigate to BlueStacks. Alternatively, you can drag-and-drop the APK file onto the BlueStacks home screen.

About this app

Speech Radar is an Android-based application (available for only 64-bit devices) that allow users to locate their device through hot-word detection. Suppose for instance an individual must rush to work and is unable to find their phone. They know the device is situated somewhere inside their room. Speech Radar can speed up the search time just by an utterance of a specific word (Alexa). Once the phone detects the utterance, it will begin ringing at maximum sound level, which will help the individual locate their phone. This app can be of use to a great number of people as it is common nowadays for individuals to lose sight of their phone and to search everywhere for it.

Help guide:

1. Press 'Start' button in the homepage to run the background service

2. Audio will record continuously in the background of your device

3. Now, you can exit the app. Please make sure to remain logged in, otherwise the service will terminate

4. To locate your device, simply utter the word 'Alexa' to make your device ring

5. That's it!
