This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing UMID on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

  1. Download the APK/XAPK file from this page.
  2. Install BlueStacks by visiting http://bluestacks.com.
  3. Open the APK/XAPK file by double-clicking it. This action will launch BlueStacks and begin the application's installation. The UMID is an application developed by Softmasters to identify and verify a person that has been registered with the Softmasters locator and find directions to a person’s residence or place of employment from your current location.

• SoftMasters has developed an innovative application named UMID(Unified Multipurpose Identification). Its uses the Softmasters locator, another application that integrates a person’s GPS coordinates of residence(s) and employment(s) on electronic map.
• UMID is used by agents of an institution to identify and verify customers.
• The agent firstly registers using the locator and afterwards picks login credentials to login in to the UMID. After registration the Agent can search and find directions to individuals and businesses who have registered with them.
• A search for an individual or business would provide details about the entity the agent is interested in; giving full details about that entity. The details include; name, date of birth, nationality, IDs, residential and employment addresses and so on.
• The agent can now choose an address and then find both graphical and detailed navigation to that address from the agent’s current location.
• UMID is a free application available for Android phones. It uses your phone internet connection (4G/3G/2G/EDGE or Wi-Fi, as available) to let an agent of an institution register and use the app.
• UMID is easy and graphical based user interface.
