I tried 4-5 different apps and this one is the only one that did exactly what I wanted. Let me select an entire conversation ( other apps were limited to small number of msgs... My conversation is over 5000msgs) , back it up as a simple text file ( no.need for other programs just so.you can read the file). After that I just had to browce to it attach it to email and send. ( look for folder sms backup or something in your sd card). If the app send the sms text file to my email for me I would give it 5 star.

Worked great, saved a specific conversation out to a text file. I have the free version, so I then used file manager to email it to myself. The conversation did have both sides (watched for this from other reviews), but every message is labeled with the other party, but with "in" or "out", so it's a little confusing. But it was all there. Great!

Junk, attempted to pull all of my messages from a thread and it only pulled the inbound messages which is useless to me foe what i need. Please fix or give work around

I was reluctant based on some of the reviews, but to my surprise, it worked perfectly. Just have to have a file manger and know how to navigate where you saved it. Thank you! Also shared via gmail. Samsung galaxy 7 edge

I only used the App briefly, but it worked great, although I had a little trouble getting the SMStoText folder to show up in Win Explorer. Messages were text format with date, time, phn#, message. Very cool!

Would have been 5 stars but when outputting the information it says export to SD card, it doesn't. it just stores the output on the internal memory. Can this be fixed? Otherwise its very simple and easy to use and does exactly what it says, except for problem on the output.
