Installation Instructions

This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing NEX Phone on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

  1. Download the APK/XAPK file from this page.
  2. Install BlueStacks by visiting http://bluestacks.com.
  3. Open the APK/XAPK file by double-clicking it. This action will launch BlueStacks and begin the application's installation. If the APK file does not automatically open with BlueStacks, right-click on it and select 'Open with...', then navigate to BlueStacks. Alternatively, you can drag-and-drop the APK file onto the BlueStacks home screen.
  4. Wait a few seconds for the installation to complete. Once done, the installed app will appear on the BlueStacks home screen. Click its icon to start using the application.

NEX Phone is a SIP softphone application for VoIP calls over 3G, 4G, and WiFi. Receive and make SIP calls on any Android device from anywhere, anytime. Receive notifications and view Log History for all SIP calls.

NEX Phone works with SIP-based devices such as DoorTalk, Smart Entry, DoorPad, and Vivex – allowing you to remotely control and manage all in one app. Access all events and data through the app.

Important: Even if you do not have a SIP device, NEX Phone allows you to connect to SIP devices.
To make and receive calls using NEX Phone, you must acquire the SIP account of the SIP device you want to connect to. Register your mobile device using that SIP ID from the NEX Phone app.
