This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing WiFi File Transfer Pro on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

I use the app to transfer files and directories back and forth between my desktop and android phone. I've been using it for about 6 months and it has worked flawlessly...never a problem. So much more convenient and faster than connecting my phone to my desktop with a usb cable.

Would be nice if it got updated with a more modern UI and modern security and performance features compatible for Android 10 and Win10. It's been seven years since last update. Otherwise, love it, works as advertised and not expencive. I'd gladly pay again for an updated modern version.

I just upgraded to the pro version but it's still limiting the file transfer size. Any help? Thanks Edit : 5 starts now. I figured it out. After upgrading I had 2 wifi transfer apps. After deleting the first one it worked flawlessly. Just uploaded 8g of music to my galaxy note 20 ultra in about 20 minutes. Great app. !!

It works fine for transferring files to the phones internal memory but will not access the sd card. I've tried it on 3 phones with no luck. Samsung S7, Alcatel Idol 3, and LG Rebel 3. I have emailed the developer with no response. The help files are not working. It does not do what it says it does. Period. I would give it 0 stars if I could.

EXTERNAL SD CARD ACCESS SOLVED! Just downloaded old version (1.0.4) of this app after buying it and got access to SD card. NOTE* tapping "SD card" link at upper left WILL NOT give you access, BUT using "parent directory" or the "up" button several times to get to where you can select sd card DOES.

Using this app for many years now. Halfway through even decided to pay the couple of bugs for the "full version". Never regretted it. Once you have WLan it is very easy to use via a browser from your PC acting very much like a simple filezilla (not quite that userfriendly). No cables needed, nor additional drivers. Moves files from and to the PC reliably. Usually I am not quick to give 5 stars. But with this app I see no real downside. Neither in the free nor in the paid version. Good stuff!

WiFi File Transfer Pro is a light-weight web server that lets you upload and download files to/from your phone or tablet over a wireless connection. Transfer files without a USB cable.
