Can't even make an account, the site can't get a connection. (Got it working, but i had to use a vpn)

Works well if you configure properly. First, having to set the username explicitly from the web interface might be something that most people would miss out. Hence most of the negative reviews here. Secondly, the connection type is default set to auto, which does not allow me to use any streaming services or whatsapp calls. To get around this, I use the UDP 443 configuration and everything works well thereafter. Something which I could not fix is that the VPN turns off automatically. Hence 4 *.

It's not worth wasting time for, the trial is scam, once you setup you account and change ip addresses and follow all instructions, the system asks you to enter your user name before login, then asks you to activate, once you click on the activation button, an automatic message appears "it is only available for subscribed customers", also the chat customer service is hopeless

It does work effectively - and the VPN is, using my chosen servers, pretty fast. Where the providers do let themselves down needlessly is poor communication. My experience (via chat*) was grim, for instance. Better, clearer instructions which will work (i.e. be understood) for noobs as well as experienced users would warrant a 5 star review. *(please note poor 'chat' experience was nearly a year ago, may have improved since)

used another username as instructed for vpn activation. says same password to be used if having paid smartdns proxy account.. tried logging in for vpn app, no response all ive got was wrong password error message even if i have used that password to access smartdns account. waited 24hrs and got reply from technical support. proble. solved. thanks
