This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing smanos Home on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

Massively improved! I've been using this app now for over two years with the K1 alarm system. Originally it was a bit buggy and drained the phone battery. Through various app updates all these issues have been solved and it works flawlessly. As mentioned by others there is zero subscription charges for the monitoring and the system works really well. Also although not related to the app it's worth mentioning the alarm is also astetically very nice! :)

The app has massively improved over time and now works perfectly. I've got the K1 Kit and I've got to say the alarm works perfectly and there is no monthly monitoring costs which is ideal.

Cant view/interact live when someone presses doorbell. Message popups, but screen keeps on loading till a timeout occurs without error. Only able to watch after who it was. Defeats whole purpose of device to interact with the person at the door. Today after a doorring not able to view anything in history. App is slow and locks ups when trying to exit. There is no other way (ex webportal) to view recordings or setting besides the app. I cant recommend this to anyone.

The app shows my K1 as offline all the time even though it has internet connectivity. The app seems very buggy lately and i can not enable/disable the system from the app. You guys really need to fix this. The internet is full with users reporting the same issue.

Worked fine until the update. Worst customer service also. After 6 months of offline system I bought an Ajax alarm. Yes it's more expensive but you get what you pay for. Regret investing my hard earned on 6 months of working properly.

Overall OK App, however if you want IFTTT to work, you will need to wait for the next update as it does not work on the K1 and K2 alarm and this version of the App

Simply connect to your home’s Wi-Fi network using the free smanos home app. The app has a step-by-step guided setup. The pairing device will provide audio and LED notifications of its status to avoid confusion during installation.

STAY CONNECTED WITH FAMILY AND FRIENDS

The app allows you to connect and share devices with your family and friends with just a few taps. Shared devices will allow other users to view cameras or arm/disarm your alarms. The app will inform shared users when alarms go off or if a family has arrived home safely. You may set standard or admin access to different users for every individual device.
