You need to accept permission or it won’t work, but after you do is easy to download whatsapp status. Check your settings, if you press “no” it will not work.

Terrible app, it takes too long to load and it doesn't show anything even if I view statuses repeatedly on GB 😒while the PHX browser does a better job, it even counts the available viewed statuses for download
