This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing OilTrax Canadian Edition on PC Windows and Mac.

Great app. I'm a truck driver that picks up at well sites. I find it very useful. The odd well I have a problem finding cause they use Google maps and sometimes where google thinks there's a road there isn't. Or where there is a road google doesn't know it's there. Hopefully a new update coming soon to fix these problems.

Wow, charge people $99 for app, remove it then push a subscription version. So now if I want to continue to use this app I have to pay for a third time (I have Garmin add on, old android already) and yearly to boot, Way to screw your customers.

About this app

OilTrax Canada is a Navigation application for the Canadian Oil and Gas Industry. Customers are able to search by LSD / NTS or OilTrax POI. Once the desired location has been found, customers are able to: Route To It / Show the location on the map / Save the search as a Favorite.

Route to It: completing a search and then selecting Route To It will provide turn by turn directions including approximate distance / time to arrive at your final destination using your on-board Google Maps.

Show on Map: completing a search and then selecting Show On Map will provide you with the ability to view the final destination you have entered on Google Maps. You are able to customize the map view to either display Road Map / Satellite / Terrain or Hybrid. Also, there is a unique Display Wells feature that will allow you to view all of the wells in your immediate area. Selecting one of these wells will allow you to save the new well as a favorite or route directly to the well from your current location.

Save as Favorite: within the App, users will be able to save search results to their 'Favorites' folder for ease of use in the future.

Updates to Well information will be provided at no additional charge as part of your subscription to the OilTrax Canadian Edition.
