Installation Instructions

This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing Citrix ShareFile for Tablets on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

  1. Download the APK/XAPK file from this page.
  2. Install BlueStacks by visiting http://bluestacks.com.
  3. Open the APK/XAPK file by double-clicking it. This action will launch BlueStacks and begin the application's installation. If the APK file does not automatically open with BlueStacks, right-click on it and select 'Open with...', then navigate to BlueStacks. Tablet App and the regular Android App, which functions on both the tablet and smartphone, operate very differently. Too bad you really need both of them. Overall I generally like the nontablet app much better. Still a huge fan of Sharefile. Use it daily in our office, and personally.

very poor, 1st reason- does not do previews very dificult to chose files without it .2nd works very badly when offline even with local stored files. 3rd local storage completely non organised all files on the same folder localy. 4th no SD card storage. App Very poor indeed.

Unintuitive tablet UI. Less useful than other cloud storage providers apps. Website is better than the app.

The app is easy to install, the communiations work well, it is easy to use.... but it needs view control buttons (full screen, scroll, page advance - fwd bck lst frst). Please add this functionality.

Little to no usability. Poorly designed. No user administration. Another app just to say "we have an app". Just use the Web interface.
