Well worth the input of writing kanji with the combination of dictionaries like Imi, JED, and Aedict. You will have a nice electronic jisho alternative ^_^ works on both my Galaxy Note 10.1 and LG Lucid

Closest you will get to WinMo-style Japanese handwriting on Android. Compares favorably to non-IME Kanji Recognizer. This is fast (even on my first-gen Galaxy Tab on stock Gingerbread, 350MB RAM!) and accurate, also gets kanji/hiragana/katakana/English. The way it splits characters takes some getting used to if you write wider than you should, but it will help you get used to writing narrowly. Wish it had a kb hiragana mode, but this is still the best kanji handwriting IME available on Android, bar none.

I tried several kanjis with a good number of strokes (20-25) and this thing nailed them all. Even with my finger and my horrible pulse on a little 3" screen. And even mistaking stroke order and/or stroke count. The kanji I want always is among the first 4-5 suggestions at most. So far, and by far, the best Japanese handwriting IME. Best and only, as other kanji handwriting apps I tried were too poor to be usable. Of course I'll buy this, but I need to get a card I can use with Google <_< Combine this with Aedict and/or an EPWING viewer with some good dictionaries like 研究社, and you'll be the closest you can get on Android to a real 電子辞書 :P (a capacitive stylus like the Adonis Jot would be a good idea too).

I tried this since there wasn't a trial for the English version. Mainly wanted to try out the interface and see if it would work for me. Seems like it should work, but hopefully it recognizes characters better in the English version. I think more people would Be if they could try first.
