Still not fixed firmware update problem

Works ok. Others seem to be having issues getting it set up. Would not setup wifi while plugged into the Sena 50r to charge. Worked fine after disconnected so perhaps that's the issue

Connected to the wifi adapter.... Software doesn't know it. Why can't I easily update over Bluetooth from the main app?

Unable to connect to adapter, pixel 4a, pixel 5 and even tried an iOS phone. Unfortunately this perfectly sums up my experience with Sena products the past few years.

I purchased the Sena 50R Bluetooth Headset. I initially setup the included "WiFi Adapter" using the "Sena 50 Utility", but it never would perform an automatic firmware upgrade of my headset, nor could I get it to even check for a WiFi Adapter firmware version update. After searching the Sena community forums, I found a mention of using this app to update the WiFi Adapter firmware. To use this app ("Sena WiFi Accessories") with the WiFi Adapter (not the "WiFi Docking Station"), I had to perform a "factory reset" of the adapter, and reconnect it to my home Wi-Fi (the same network to which it was previously connected.) So, with the 50R headset NOT connected, freshly reset WiFi Adapter is plugged back into the USB charger (Note: They strongly advise that you DO NOT plug the WiFi Adapter into a computer's USB port!) This app now finds and connects the the WiFi Adapter! Adapter firmware checked and found to be current. Headset plugged into WiFi Adapter, and immediately begins the automatic firmware update! Final note: This app appears on your phone as just "WiFi Accessories" -- not "Sena WiFi Accessories", as any user might expect. Ugh.
