Used this app to set up WANSCAM Solar powered cameras and it worked well. Connected to the cams outside the WiFi using my Mobile Network and it was cool, too.

This app does run the WANSCAM cameras, but it is VERY buggy. The time/date do not handle DST correctly, labeling the stored vido with the wrong hour. The motion capture is very flaky too. It records when it should and shouldn't. The commands are NOT intuitive, with a mixture of motion, alarm and time jubbled together. THe email notification does not work. It defaults to a chinese SMTP server which is a potential security problem. The doc says nothing about the fact that you can run this thing from the PC using port 80 and the local IP address. You need to enable flash to make it work, which is another security problem.

Once I'd figured out the poor setup procedure it connected to and works fine with my Wanscam K38D via LAN and powerline adaptors (NOT wireless) out to our stables. The only gripe I have is that it cannot do a "version update" (firmware) on the camera. It tries but always fails. No response from developer or Wanscam on this.
