The app won't connect to my Sony Experia Z3 compact, online app works fine as does the windows app. Realy need the phone app to works as well guys ! SO you need to take the chance if it works or not, if it does and is as the windows/online versions it will be great, juts the thing for in the field/travelling. Great camera too. . Also tried my "wiko ozzy" android it won't connect either !!! Spent £10 on a cable too !

I can't connect my phone at all. And when I try to just use an SD card all it will let me do is update the firmware. Even after trying 4 different cables and reinstalling the app I still can't connect biggest waist of money I have ever spent I can't even get it to connect to my pc and it's brand new out of the box. I can power it up but it won't record.

hi,this did work until i updated the camera and now i cant connect my camera to my phone,the settings have changed now aswell so my camera wont stay on,every time i land it has switched off. This app is excellent when it works,i wish i didnt have to do an update

It works great on my old phone, but it doesn't request file access properly in marshmallow on my new phone. Marshmallow requires the user to approve access in addition to the app permissions.

Everytime i connect the camera it says it need update, i went to online app updated it then reconnected to mobile app and still say i need update! Why?

Everytime I make changes to cam parameters they refuse to save! I'm doing what the directions say by quiting app disconnect and reboot cam but it never sticks! So frustrated I have removed the useless app it is of no use if you can't save and get absolutely no help from runcam itself .
